Chambers Island
The FNCC has joined with the Conservation Fund in an application to the Florida Communities Trust for a grant to acquire Chambers Island. Chambers Island is located at the mouth of the Withlacoochee River in the Gulf of Mexico. It is an undeveloped island and, if approved, will provide limited recreation and conservation for public use and enjoyment.
