Doris Hellermann kindly donated property along GStreet in Cedar Key last year. FNCC immediately enrolled the property in the University of Florida’s shoreline restoration project.
This year citizens and volunteers were invited to assist with the living shoreline project by planting native grasses along the newly established beach. Visitors, residents and shorebirds alike are enjoying new shoreline already!
