Strengthening community resilience

Each year, FNCC members assist with the International Coastal Cleanup, clearing debris from FNCC properties and National Wildlife Refuges

FNCC is very active in the Cedar Key community and surrounding areas. We work closely with our conservation partners, local governments and residents on a variety of initiatives and projects that benefit the Nature Coast and the people who live here.

FNCC takes part in volunteer events including the International Coastal Cleanup and Arbor Day. We also serve on advisory groups such as the University of Florida Nature Coast Biological Station’s “Cedar Key ShOREs project” which is exploring green solutions to protect shorelines and decrease storm-water flooding
